Avstar is unveiling a redesigned learning management system (LMS) for its complete line of Part 135 online aviation training. The simplified interface makes training and training administration simpler for Part 135 aviation professionals.
“This redesigned version of our LMS makes it easier than ever for our clients and their crew to access and manage their aviation training,” said Tom Ramirez, president of Avstar. “We know our clients are busy and our goal at Avstar is to provide comprehensive training as conveniently as possible. The new design introduces the ability to immediately access summary information making it easier for administrators to take action when students are out of compliance or even approaching their training due dates. This view identifies and provides one-click access to students that need attention.
Enhanced filtering and automatic email alerts are other features intended to simplify training administration. When students are added or assigned a new curriculum, they automatically receive an email alert providing their training requirements. This alert eliminates the need for the training supervisor to reach out to the student and ensures that everyone is aligned.
Students also benefit from the new LMS with an updated training dashboard. They can immediately see their training status and have one-click access to incomplete courses that need attention.
